Itinerary
10:00 PM
- We will meet you at the start of the bike trail or alternatively pick you up at your hotel depending on your needs.
10:15 PM
- We will make sure the Fat bike is set up to fit you, adjust tire pressure and seat height, and check headlamps and handlebar lights, your clothing and gear before we take off. We will start biking on a flat easy trail that winds through a beautiful forest with open glades. We will stop frequently to check on the group, take photographs, sip water and enjoy the quiet wilderness at night.
11:15 PM
- We will bike over to an open glade where we will get off the bikes and see if the Aurora is out and visible. We will drink some hot drinks and eat snacks and if the Aurora is out we will enjoy the northern lights and take photographs.
1:00 AM
- We will loop back to the trailhead, and ride through Goldstream Valley back to the trailhead where we will celebrate a successful ride and hopefully rave about the Aurora!
2:00 AM
- Drop off at your hotel if we picked you up there.

What to Expect
Want a truly unique experience? Join us on a night time adventure – bike quietly through the Alaskan boreal forest at night on a Fatbike and view the northern lights in the wilderness. Expert guides (1 guide per 2 clients!) will ensure that you have a lifetime experience at your own pace on some of the best trails in Alaska (or anywhere). This trip is at night and involves biking with bright headlamps and handlebar lights. Guides will cater to the needs of the group. Max group size is 4 people.
